A Miamisburg Boy gets his Special Wish

Miamisburg, OH. – Six-year old-Armand received his Special Wish July 16, 2015 at his home in Miamisburg. A specially-equipped swing set made just for him was installed at his home. Armand suffers from gangliosidosis, a rare, life-threatening genetic disorder that impacts the nervous system and for which there is no cure. His new swing set provides a soothing motion that helps calm Armand and allow him to enjoy the outdoors.

This wish was made possible by the Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation and a generous private donation. As Dayton’s only local wish-granting organization, ASW has granted over 1,600 wishes to local children since 1983. Serving children, birth through age 20, who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder, ASW operates in Montgomery, Miami, Darke, Greene, Mercer and Shelby counties.
